Art Opening September 5th

September’s Library Art Exhibit features monoprint and mixed media collage work by Jody King Camarra. The opening reception will be held at the library on Saturday, September 5th, from 4PM to 5PM.

Author Talk and Book Signing Sept 26th

On Saturday, September 26th at 3PM, local author Lee Rafkin will be launching the release of his first book, a memoir titled “Always Order Ice Cream: My Journey as a Stage IV Cancer Survivor.” Following the talk and book signing, there will be an ice cream social. Books will be available for purchase.

Game Night Oct 7th

Game Night is every first Wednesday of the month from 7PM-9PM. Bring your own favorite games from home to play, or play any of the games in the Library’s collection. Come hang out, enjoy some drinks and snacks, and learn new games!

Community Stargazing - Star Scavenger Hunt Oct 9th

Join us for our second Community Stargazing event, the Star Scavenger Hunt, led by Peter Dunphy. The event will take place on Friday October 9th at the Goodnow Preserve. From 6:45PM to 7:30PM, learn how to use the New Marlborough Library’s Smart Telescope (available to borrow for use at home!). From 7:30PM to 9:45PM, the Star Scavenger Hunt will commence, using the naked eye and binoculars. All ages are welcome. Back up dates in case of bad weather will be Saturday Oct 10th and Sunday Oct 11th. Contact the library the day of for updates.
